Training in Saldanha

What a cold place! I really did not know that the West Coast is so cold, but anyway I enjoyed being around.

I was doing training at Saldanha MPT for a week. I will continue next wee as well.

Training

I have come across interesting strategies on how to best train employees to be productive at work.

I would like to share a few in due course.

Life is great

I have put myself into a joyous mood by making sure that I stay with my family the whole weekend. I was very happy and they really enjoyed!

Training at Transnet

So far so good, although there are challenges there and there. I enjoy training the adults as they seem to be more matured and knowing what they want.

I would like to grow in this company as I can see that there more and more opportunities if one is a hard worker...

What a first day in Cape Town

The flight from Durban was delayed by 55 minutes. When I landed in Cape Town Intnl , my co-facilitator was gone since she was not aware that I was delayed. I had to phone Shelley back in SPO and actually she was aware as she tried to call me earlier. I also phoned AMEX travel agents and Magadalene, this was really hectic.

I arrived at the venue training at 11:00 after having being picked up by Jan (also a trainer) from Cape Town Container Terminal.

Anyway the group was very live and well.

What an experience!

Training in Cape Town

Today is my first time to go out to train in Cape Town. Really got a bad start as the flight is delayed.

Hope that all is well in the training centre.

Looking forward to this exciting experience.

Enjoying my new job @ Transnet

It's a challenges to shift from the traditional classroom learning and teaching on daily basis. I am now enjoying the new job as training facilitator. The coming week will be a hectic one as I will be running a training in Cape Town port terminal to the supervisors.

Changed the job!

With effect from the 1st of Feb 2010 I changed my job to that of being a Training Facilitator at Transnet School of Port Operations. It was a huge decision ever in my life since I have been with the education sector for 14 years.

I am looking forward to new challenges and successes thereof.
